Handcrafted by expert artisans in Seki City, Japan, Shun Premier knives feature a core of proprietary VG-MAX super steel clad on both sides with 34 layers of Damascus stainless steel. Their ultra-thin blades are cut to a 16° angle, and their edges retain a lasting razor-sharpness for precision and control.
The striking, hand-hammered finish ( in Japanese) reduces drag when cutting and keeps food from sticking to the blades. The graceful curves of the elegant walnut pakkawood handles allow for a variety of comfortable grips. Hand wash. Set of 4. Made in Japan.
