Because carbon steel woks lack nonstick qualities, you’ll need to build up a patina (also known as “seasoning”) to prevent food from sticking. Regularily cooking with oil at high temperatures will allow your traditional wok to season naturally.
This traditional wok features a sturdy maple helper handle for easy, safe stirring and flipping and a flat surface area bottom for even results on a variety of cooking surfaces. Our house brand Chinese wok is safe for use with metal utensils. Note: Carbon steel will rust if not properly seasoned and stored.
