Since 1840, Peugeot has designed and manufactured a selection of exceptional instruments for cooking and the table in Doubs, France. These salt and pepper mills (sold separately) feature the beautiful, exotic grain of olivewood and spice specific mechanisms.
The pepper mill is equipped with Peugeot’s legendary pepper-grinding mechanism. Its double-row of helix-shaped claws grabs and cracks each peppercorn before drawing it down to the teeth for the perfect grind.
The salt mill is equipped with Peugeot’s exceptional salt grinding mechanism. Its two ribbed plates are made from a stainless steel blend that offers resiliency, rigidity and resistance to corrosion from dry salts. When the mechanism is activated, the ribs work to twist and fracture each salt crystal to the desired size.

- to get the best out of your peugeot pepper mill use peppercorns with a diameter of 6mm or less. black, white and dry green peppercorns can be ground in peugeot pepper mills. the pink berries can be ground only if in a blend (max 15% pink) with one of these peppercorns. dried coriander is also suitable for the pepper mechanism.
